On this page we will show pictures of our "family"
animals. Some are pets and some are future breeders.
These are our 2010 sulcata breeders. Pictured below is
our 24" male breeder, Sultan and his harem. He breeds each female twice a day. He is a breeding machine. They love to lounge
around their yard and bask in the sun. You'll often find them dozing off under the tree or taking a nice long soak in their
pond. They love to eat fresh lawn clippings and dandelions in the yard. All of them have a great temperament and enjoy being
patted and scratched.
Sultans harem consists of 3 females ranging from
20 to 22" long. The dark brown female is Dozey. We gor her as a yearling 5 years ago and this is her first year breeding.
She laid 13 eggs her first clutch in early February 2010. The other two females were aquired last year to upgrade our breeding
stock. They each lay 25-30 eggs per clutch and replaced two females that averaged 18-20 eggs per clutch. We anticipate 250-300
babies from this group in 2010.
